IR summary: the special forces of the FSB of the Russian Federation engaged in "redistribution of property" in Novoazovsk region

Operational data of the group "Information Resistance"

The Russian occupation forces continue to shell the positions of Ukrainian troops and settlements near the line of demarcation. The bulk of shelling fell on the north-western part of the front line (north-western outskirts of Donetsk), the Mariupol direction, the area of the northern and northwestern outskirts of Gorlovka.

In particular:

- On the seaside direction, from the position in the forest belt to the north-west of the boarding house "Parus" occupants fired at least 10 82-mm mines on the UAF positions in the eastern part of Shirokino and positions at altitudes north of the village;

- Also from a position in the beam to the north-west of the settlement Verkhneshirokovskoe  82-mm mortars were fired at the positions of the UAF between Pavlopol and Pishchevik;

- In the area of Donetsk from the Zhobunki site and the Volvo center, the occupants opened fire from heavy machine guns and heavy mounted grenade launchers AGS-17 on advanced units of the UAF on the eastern and south-eastern outskirts of the Peski, while from the southern part of Zhobunki the enemy also fired up to 12 82 mm mines with a wide spread;

- In the area of the Avdeevka "industrial zone", the invaders fired at the advanced positions of the UAF from large-caliber machine guns, grenade launchers RPG-7, AGS-17 and SPG-9 / 9M, and shelled 10 120-mm mines along a section south of Yasinovka Lane from the position between Kashtanovoe and the railway station Yasinovataya-2. Mines exploded in the forest in front of Sobornaya Street;

- During the shelling of the southern and eastern Zhovanka (Mayorsk-Zaitsevo district) from automatic small arms, large-caliber machine guns and heavy mounted grenade launchers AGS, the occupants repeatedly opened fire from anti-aircraft missile system Zu-23-2, installed on the transport platform, from the outskirts of the forest to the north of the Terrikonnaya railway station.

From the Telmanovo side, the militants redeployed a considerable amount of light armored vehicles in the direction of Staromarevka during the last two days. The redeployment  was carried out in two batches. The first batch was consisting of 3 BMP-1/2 and BTR-70/80 (also 2 trucks Ural), moving aside (north) from the Telmanovo-Granitnoye road towards Novaya Marevka. The second batch was consisting of 4 BMP-1/2 and 2 MT-LB, later occupied positions (partially already dig out) on the left bank of the Kalmius River (at altitudes), north of the forest massif opposite Granitnoye.

Attention is drawn to the active movement of enemy vehicles in the rear of the Stakhanov group of invaders, together with the transfer of armored vehicles in its northeast corner. So, more than 20 units of the militants' vehicles passed within 24 hours through the Mikhailovsky interchange to the south and in the opposite direction. Among other things, 3 fuel tankers KAMAZ were moved towards Perevalsk, 2 special vehicles on the basis of the truck Ural (kung with antennas) towards Kadievka. In addition, 2 BTR-70/80 and 3 trucks Ural (on-board) and truck Kamaz (tilt) from Perevalsk to Petrovskoe were noted.

It is the "combat coordination" of the tank battalion and the tank unit (to the consolidated tank company) from the "motor rifle brigades" of the 1st Army Corps DNR at the firing range of militants in the vicinity of the settlement Ternovoe. The issues of organizing and conducting an attack from the march, the breakthrough of the fortified enemy defensive line, are being worked out, among other things; a number of elements are processed with the performance of live fire with a regular ammunition. Tanks of types T-64B, T-64BV, T-72A, T-72B3 (the last not less than 8 units) were noted in the structure of these units. In total at least 45 heavy armored vehicles are noted. Apparently, the command of the invaders launched the process of deploying a tank brigade as part of the 1st Army Corps DNR (about such plans of the Russian command the IR group reported earlier), at the expense of tank units from the "motorized rifle brigades", although the problem of the heterogeneity of the standard combat equipment, obviously, while it remains open.

At the firing range at the site east of Perevalsk (Troitsky district, Lugansk region), the command of the occupiers conducts training with the commanding staff of artillery units (commanders of 122-mm and 152-mm self-propelled towed artillery, 122-mm howitzers type D-30, anti-tank artillery - MT-12 Rapier weapons). Questions of fire artillery control in different types of combat, interaction with infantry and tanks, as well as the use of different types of artillery in combat are being studied. Also at this range there are at least 2 units of long-range self-propelled guns type 2С5 "Hyacinth-S" (the range of firing standard HE fragmentation shell - up to 30 km) were fixed. The presence of these armaments in the arsenal of "People's Militia LNR" was previously noted in the course of firing of rear facilities in the territory, controlled by Ukraine, in the northeast "corner" of the Stakhanov occupation group.

At the request of Russian advisers, the command of the 1st Army Corps DNR is trying to order the location of a number of "units and subunits" of the invaders within the city of Donetsk. In particular, militants of several formations arbitrarily occupied a number of residential and administrative buildings under their locations, which are not reflected in the reporting documents, and do not intend to move into the "barracks fund" allocated by the command in the city. The command of the militants demands that the commanders of the units vacate the occupied premises and settle only in the territory of the selected facilities, threatening to use the forces of the "military commandant's office" and the "commandant's regiment" to forced eviction.

A group of Special Forces of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation with the conditional name "Grad" is located in the Sedovo, Novoazovsk district of the Donetsk region, since the beginning of September this year. The FSB representatives, which included in this group, were on the territory of the district in 2014, and participated in its seizure and fighting clashes with units of the regiment of the National Guard of Ukraine "Azov". Then they were transferred to Syria, where until recently they performed tasks as part of the Russian contingent, after which they were again transferred to the Donbas. An armored group of five combat armored vehicles (from the unit of the 1st Army Corps DNR stationed in Novoazovsk) was given this group to support their actions.

At the moment, there is a conflict situation between the members of this group of special forces of the Russian Federal Security Service and the "Interior Minister of the DNR" A.Dykiy and the "chief of police" of the district R.Garanga, which arose as a result of the help of the FSB special forces in the return of the Novoazov Central Market in the ownership of S.Serdyuk (is a former director and owner of the Novoazovsk central market, the latter was transferred to "state ownership of the republic" by order of A. Zakharchenko in 2015). S.Serdyuk was forced out in the Russian Federation; his son was detained by militias of the "Ministry of the Interior Affairs of the DNR" and was kept in prison for a long time in order to force his father to pay money for his release. There is no information on the nature of relations between the FSB of the Russian Federation and Serdyuk at the moment.

Local residents in the vicinity of Gorlovka, Yenakiyevo, Makeyevka, Debaltsevo and the nearest villages massively appeal to the local "authorities" and "law enforcers" of the invaders with a request to restore order in the suburbs and garden areas. In particular, the complaints concern the "invasion" of homeless people and anti-social elements that have strayed into gangs and engaged in looting, in particular, taking away the harvested crop from local residents. When attempts of local residents to independently rebuff, representatives of these gangs threaten them with physical violence, and the use of physical force are noted.

For reasons of economy of the "budgetary" funds, the leaders of the "LNR" issued an order of the so-called "The Ministry of Education of the LNR" to transfer educational institutions to food products coming from the Russian Federation (including in the form of so-called "humanitarian aid"), which in the overwhelming majority consist of low-quality or expired products. The implementation of this instruction has already caused mass poisoning of children in the Lugansk region. In particular, the fact of a disease of salmonellosis detected 5 pupils and 3 representatives of staff in school number 38 in Lugansk on September 15 this year. This situation is hushed up by representatives of the "authorities of the LNR." Parents of children and staff of the hospital, in which the sick are, are ordered not to spread information about poisoning in schools.
